Locum Insurance - What are the exclusions?

The full range of exclusions is shown in the standard Certificate of Insurance
In summary, they are:
* taking part in aeronautics - (as a pilot)
* self-inflicted injury
* war
* radioactive contamination
* HIV/AIDS unless caused by needlestick injury and STD's

Please note that there is no automatic exclusion for anxiety, stress or depression.

Locum Insurance - For how long is the Sum Insured paid?

The Sum Insured will be paid for as long as the insured person remains temporarily totally unable to work, up to a maximum of 52 weeks including the deferred period. If he or she returns to work before the end of this period, the payments will cease.
